GLADD (Gluten & Allergic Digestive Disorders) Program - GLADD is a newly developed program of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Department at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Our GLADD Program is led by Dr. Anca Safta, a nationally recognized expert in Celiac Disease, Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity and Eosinophilic diseases. Dr. Safta, along with registered, licensed dietitian, Angie Almond, and Jessica White-Webb, RN provide ongoing patient care for patients and support for their families.
Rima Kleiner, MS, RD, LDN - Mrs. Kleiner is a nationally-recognized food and nutrition expert based in Greensboro, NC. She is also the mother of a child with tree nut allergies, so she knows the challenge of feeding a family with diet restrictions.

Encourage Nutrition - Gloria Bartelt, MPH, RD, LDN can provide one-on-one guidance to help you manage your diet properly after eliminating foods due to food allergies or sensitivities. She had lead two very informative and beneficial seminars for FAFT and is very knowledgable in food allergies, sensitivities, IBS, gluten intolerance and more.
Body in Mind Nutrition - Debra Benfield, M.Ed, RD, LDN, RTY 200, can provide adults with nutritional counseling and is a great resource for parents of food allergic children. She can guide parents in properly managing an allergen free diet, ensure even the pickiest of eater learns to make good choices and will provide the tools to instill healthy eating habits.
Guilford Counseling- Jennifer Cobb, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, works with children age 6 to adults. She offers group and individual counseling. She is a wonderful resource for the food allergy community as she can aid parents and children in managing anxiety, stress or feelings of exclusion that are often challenges of living with food allergies.
Capri Health - Angela Savitri, a Certified Integrative Health Coach from Duke Integrative Medicine, can help you manage your stress and live the life you have imagined. She will guide you on your own personal discovery and help you realize your ability to reduce anxiety and chronic stress. These are not only great tools to use for yourself, but also great tools to pass on to your children. Angela is also a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor, Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, has completed Mindfullness Stress Reduction Training and is a nationally registered Occupational Therapist, licensed in NC.

If you or your child has been diagnosed with food allergies, some of your food and medical expenses may be deductible.
